How We Work
Through Appropriate and Sustainable Solutions that:
1.) Treat or purify drinking water at the source or household level
2.) Repair broken hand pumps at existing water wells
3.) Drill and construct new water wells where most needed
Through a Methodology that:
- Identifies viable projects
- Assess needs of communities
- Builds strategic partnerships that will share expertise and costs
- Identifies and uses appropriate technologies
- Creates a valued presence through education and knowledge sharing
- Closely monitors projects to ensure positive outcomes for all stakeholders
- Develops relationships and builds credibility in the communities where we work
- Maximize benefits to donors and recipients
- Transforms lives and communities

This approach starts with the drilling equipment. The equipment must be based on appropriate drilling technology, be rugged, affordable and mobile in often remote rural locations where conventional drilling equipment cannot go.
