August 2005: Eleos Project is granted 1.5 hectares (3 acres) of land in the village of Turalei, in South Sudan to build an Outreach Facility. This land was granted to Eleos Project by local community leaders. Eleos Project plans to start construction in 2006.

July 2005: Eleos Project volunteer team departs from Denver, Colorado to serve in South Sudan and to work on community development projects.

The Eleos Project team delivered medical supplies to a community operated medical clinic in the village of Turalei, in Northern Bahr El Gahzal. This clinic is free for those who cannot afford medical care. The team also delvered soccer uniforms and equipment for four primary schools in Twic County. Two youth teams were outfitted at the primary school in the village of Ajong. One youth team was outfitted at the primary school in Mayen Abun and one youth team was outfitted at the Catholic Diocese school in Turalei. The team also collected and delivered school supplies for the primary school in Ajong.

June 2005: Eleos Project receives its 501(c)(3) status from the Internal Revenue Service. Effective date of exemption is October 13, 2004.

June 2005: Eleos Project receives authorization from the U.S. Department of Treasury and the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) to conduct its humanitarian activities in Sudan.

April 2005: Eleos board of directors are elected. Michael J. Freeman was elected President, Mark S. Purington was elected Vice President, and Jody L. Rogers was elected Secretary/Treasurer.

October 2004: The formal formation of the Eleos Project organization is started. Application for Recognition of Exemption (Form 1023) is submitted to the Internal Revenue Service.

June 2004: Eleos Project volunteer team departs from Denver, Colorado to serve in South Sudan and to work on community development projects.

The Eleos Project team raised funding to rehab two brick structures destroyed by the civil war in Sudan. These two buildings are now being used as a Health Training Center in the village of Mayen Abun where health education classes in HIV/AIDS, Malaria, Typhoid, and other Sub-Saharan Africa diseases are conducted do reduce the often deadly effects of these diseases in the community.

Eleos Project provided building materials, power and hand tools, a generator and volunteer labor along side local community members on this project. The Eleos Project team also provided soccer uniforms and equipment for two young men's soccer teams in the village of Wun Roc and Mayen Abun.

Medical supplies that had been collected for over a year were also delivered and presented to local community clinics.
